What is Initiative Phase?

I love playing games with people, but the decades slip by shockingly fast, and there’s a lot of time I could have been playing table-top games that I’ve just missed.

Well, that’s over. I want to play games with people and that’s what I’m going to do. I might have rolled a 1 on initiative, but it’s finally my turn, so this is going to be a blog about playing games (wargames, card games, board games, and more) and all the stuff that goes with it (building, painting, print-and-play).

How do we make money?

We don’t!

Traditional internet ads are ugly and are predicated on getting as many views as possible and having people click through to websites that aren’t vetted, so we won’t be doing that. There will be affiliate links for some things and Ko-Fi for general (and specific) donations/contributions. It costs about $100 per year for the URL and the hosting, and anything beyond that will be reinvested into Initiative Phase.
